Activities
Seminars / Colloquiums
EPISTEME Colloquia are public lectures given by invited speakers, usually not belonging to the EPISTEME Research Group, either from Spain or from abroad. They are normally scheduled on Thursdays, although they may occasionally take place on other days. Sessions usually last one hor and half, with roughly a bit more than half an hour devoted to questions and open discussion.
EPISTEME Seminars are internal research meetings where Senior and Student members of EPISTEME present work-in-progress to the rest of the group. They are typically held on Thursdays, but can sometimes be arranged on different days as well.
Extra Talks
From time to time, individual EPISTEME Senior members organize additional talks by invited researchers on topics of special interest. These talks are not part of the official EPISTEME Colloquia series and are usually linked to particular research projects, or of interest for students or other groups.
Conferences / Workshops
EPISTEME regularly hosts international conferences and workshops on a wide range of topics. These events are often supported and funded by specific research projects or/and by scientific societies.
Other Activities
EPISTEME also organizes round tables, seminars for undergraduate students, and other activities.
